CAke Stand FAQ’S

Our stands are intended to be used under your cake base. Please do not place cake or food items directly on the stand.

To clean, simply wipe with a damp cloth, using mild soap if needed. Wipe dry and store in a dry place. Do not submerge in water.

While the painted surface is very durable, it should be treated as you would a wooden coffee table. The same way that the wet surface of a drinking glass would leave a water mark on a coffee table, a wet item left on the stand for an extended time will leave a mark.

Cake stands are NOT dishwasher, microwave, or oven safe.

Because the stands are made to order, please allow 3 weeks for delivery. We promise to strive for a quicker delivery when possible, but by manufacturing our product this way, we can assure our customers that items will always be available.

Bases Covered cake stands are made of solid material, with solid construction. They are intended to hold very heavy cakes.

When cakes are centered on the stand, and fit within the size of the top of the stand, the weight limit is at least 200 lbs.

US Domestic Shipping

Shipping rates are calculated based on weight, size, and location. We currently do not offer expedited shipping.

International Shipping

We currently offer limited international shipping. Please send us an email inquiry and we can let you know if we are able to fulfil your order.

Return Costs

Return shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the buyer unless the wrong item is shipped or if the item arrived damaged.

15 Days to Return

Items can only be returned if unused, and within 15 days of purchase.

Returns & Exchanges

Bases Covered Stands must be notified in advance of a return or exchange. Please send an email: info@basescoveredstands.com to notify us prior to shipping. We will then process your return and send you a RMA. Credit will be issued once item is received and inspected.
